The Sri Lanka Consulate General in Cyprus conducted its Sunday Special Mobile Consular, Employment, and Welfare Services today, 19 April 2026, at the Town Hall of the Paralimni–Deryneia Municipality.
Paralimni is a town in the Eastern Cyprus where a significant number of Sri Lankan migrant workers reside. As part of its outreach efforts, this initiative of the Consulate General provides accessible and efficient services, enabling community members to obtain multiple consular services directly from the Consulate General at their door-step.
The Consul General expressed its sincere appreciation to the Sri Lankan community volunteers whose support contributed to the success of this event. Special gratitude is also extended to the Hon. Mayor of the Paralimni–Deryneia Municipality, Giorgos Nikolettos for providing the venue facilities; as well as to Mr. Andreas Kezoz and Ms. Susila, for closely coordinating with the municipal authorities to secure the Town Hall venue and ensuring all necessary facilities were in place
