The Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Nicosia serves as the principal representative office of Sri Lanka in Cyprus, dedicated to providing efficient and accessible services to the Sri Lankan community, Cypriot nationals, and other foreign residents seeking assistance and engagement with Sri Lanka.

The Consulate General offers a wide range of consular services, including passport and citizenship matters, documentation, attestation services, assistance to Sri Lankan nationals, and facilitation of trade, tourism, investment, cultural, and educational cooperation between Sri Lanka and Cyprus. The Consulate remains committed to safeguarding the welfare of Sri Lankans residing in Cyprus while strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

Having relocated to its permanent premises in December 2025, the Consulate General now operates from a modern, spacious, and strategically located facility in the diplomatic district of Nicosia, in close proximity to several foreign missions and key institutions. The new premises provide enhanced facilities to ensure the efficient delivery of services and a welcoming environment for visitors.

The Consulate General works closely with Sri Lankan religious, cultural, educational, business, and community organizations across Cyprus, fostering unity and preserving Sri Lankan heritage among the expatriate community. Through active engagement with community groups, students, professionals, and long-term residents, the Consulate strives to serve as a home away from home for all Sri Lankans in Cyprus.
